Clubhouse Rules and Regulations

General Rules and Regulations
The clubhouse is available for private functions and community-sponsored events and activities. All functions are subject by approval of the Board.

Only Chestnut Springs Homeowners’ Association (“CSHA”) members may reserve the Clubhouse. The usage fee for private functions is as follows: (a) Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for Recreational members; and (b) Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for Community members. All usage fees must be paid prior to the event. Community-sponsored events and service group meetings require no usage fee.

Clubhouse Manager, reporting to the CSHA Board of Directors manages the Clubhouse.

All functions must end by 12:00 Midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 P.M. Sunday through Thursday. Functions may not start before 8:00 A.M. All outdoor activities and loud noises must end at 10:00 P.M. Exceptions to these hours may occasionally be granted if requested and approved in advance by the Clubhouse Committee or Board of Directors. All community uses and private functions must be organized and conducted in such a manner as to control and contain noise within the Clubhouse and minimize the effect of the activity on neighbors living near the Clubhouse.

Each CSHA household may have only two (2) outstanding reservations for private functions/parties at any time. Each CSHA household may have only one (1) outstanding reservation for a private function/party in any given month.

Community-wide social, sports and meeting functions will have first priority in scheduling dates for reserving the Clubhouse. Community functions should submit their date requests as early as possible.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted only on a “bring your own” basis for all community and private functions. Any CSHA member reserving the Clubhouse is responsible for the behavior and actions of all attendees, guests, and visitors at the function. No one under the age of twenty-one (21) is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages.

NO SMOKING is allowed in the Clubhouse.

Any activities, which violate any federal, state or local laws, rules or ordinances (including without limitation, Cobb County Code provisions regarding excessive noises) are prohibited.

The Clubhouse doors and windows facing the pool must be closed and locked at all times.

NO GLASS (INCLUDING BEER BOTTLES) FROM CLUBHOUSE ACTIVITIES IS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA!

No wet bathing suits are allowed in the Clubhouse.

No paint or tacks are allowed on the walls or ceilings. Tape may be used to install decorations provided the tape does not discolor or damage the walls and is removed after the activity. Balloons must be kept out of the ceiling fans and all decorations must be removed immediately. This applies to all community-wide social functions as well. Clubhouse furniture, stereo, TV, etc. are to remain inside the Clubhouse and under no circumstances should be removed from the premises.

Making a copy of the Clubhouse key is prohibited.

Any person or persons vandalizing, stealing or damaging any portion of the Clubhouse facility and/or any personal property in the Clubhouse will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and will be held liable for the cost of repairs. Any CSHA member who participates or acquiesces in any such conduct will also face disciplinary action by the Chestnut Springs Homeowners Association Board of Directors.

No one under the age of 18 can be in or use the Clubhouse without adult supervision.

At no time will a private function be permitted to interfere with CSHA member access to the pool and other amenities such as the tennis courts in the Oakie Bankhead Recreation Area (the lower tennis courts/pool area).
